40mm is truly an up-and-coming scale, and what better period to dabble in than the Old West? Characters really come to life in this scale. They are better proportioned, more detailed, and a vast array of "O" Gauge model railroad kits and scratchbuilding supplies are available, whereas those same railway kits are a bit too large for 25 or 28mm. The Knuckleduster range is truly 1:48 scale, which measures 36mm from the base to the eye (about 40mm to the top of the head), blends well with other "40mm" ranges. It includes a variety of gunfighters, both mounted and dismounted, and many more combatants, civilians, and scenic items are on the workbench under creation. Most characters have plug-in heads to create your own designs, and all kits include an extra head to increase the variety. Some kits have swappable arms. All items cast in lead-free pewter.
